Help Don Bosco
DON BOSCO – SRI LANKA : The Vice-Province of St. Joseph (or the Salesians of Don Bosco) is a Roman Catholic religious institute founded in the late nineteenth century by Italian priest Saint John Bosco to help poor children during the Industrial Revolution.
Since then, Sri Lanka in one of the 132 countries in which this charitable mission is recognized. Among all the 18 Don Bosco Institutes and Centres planted in Sri Lanka, the varieties of formal and informal trades that are catered for the poor and marginalized youngsters are different from a centre to centre.
Being a religious and a charitable organization DON BOSCO – SRI LANKA faces the same challenge of St. John Bosco (Don Bosco) faced, the challenge of continuing the mission due to any sort of financial crisis, trusting in Divine Province through the generosity of true humans.
