Construction of the Volleyball Court at Post-Novitiate Community

by Fr. Sebastian Fernando

Article # 18 of the Constitutions and Regulations of the Society of St. Francis de Sales speaks of Work and Temperance. Following the constitutions and regulations of the congregation the Young Confreres in the post-novitiate community begins to construct the volleyball court. The community is already having football, cricket and basketball court. The volleyball court was missing. So after the discussion in the community brothers started to construct the volleyball court.  The work began on Monday with the blessings of Fr. Sebastian SDB (Principal) and Fr. Faustin SDB (Administrator). Brothers are enthusiastic to make the volleyball court. The main idea behind is help the future young confreres and young people to provide a well built and high standard of court. “Run, Jump and Shout but do not sin” this advice is the millstone and encouragement for the confreres.

To make this volleyball court brothers are working hard with the collaboration of superiors. To build this court community needs a lot of help (especially financially) from government officials and benefactors.

We also ask you to help our brothers who are the future of the congregation and of our vice province. Work is in progress under the scorching sun and in hot summer season. Keep them always in prayers. Viva Don Bosco.
