DEMOGRAPHY

The Kilinochchi Don Bosco Infotech master plan outlines a new TECH campus in Kilinochchi that supports a cutting-edge academic vision of interdisciplinary, industry collaborative, and project-based learning. The academic mission and curriculum, developed in partnership with the IT Industry and Global market, is based on bold new paradigms for integrating technology and education in the fields of IT engineering, and product development. These aspirations will serve as a means to promote research and learning, partnerships with industry, and integration with a global knowledge-based economy.

To foster innovative curriculum, the master plan puts forth an English medium school from Grade I to AL in the campus framework. A key concept showcases the Kilinochchi Don Bosco InfoTech an interdisciplinary and collaborative mission with academics around the globe. The vibe also creates a public face for the Campus and connects to surrounding areas for future development. As a result, we will have a strong identity, support a vibrant community, and demonstrate a commitment to engaged learning, student development and in-house placements.

We empower the marginalized and disadvantaged youth to reach their dreams by developing their skills and thus to transform the society.

MISSION

We are committed in creating a centre for excellence where we provide holistic education, professional training and placement for the marginalized and the needy young people in the onward vision of march of an emerging and developing Sri Lanka.

SCOPE

1.  A decent place for the Salesians and youngsters to stay and work.
2.  A Place were Guest lectures, Teachers and IT personals can be accommodated to live with the Salesians.
3. Support in providing technical connectivity to five Salesian presences around Killinochchi. (Cloud Based Networking Centre).
4.  A fully functional state of the art English medium school with futuristic tech capabilities and following stem module for the children of tomorrow.
5.  Through this process, we alter public perceptions about the unemployment in the northern part of Sri Lanka and the role and status of youngsters in society ensuring the highest quality outcomes for the resource and better livelihood.
6.  The program includes Technical Training in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Call Centre, Cloud Computing Platform, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Cybersecurity, English communication, self-empowerment, Carrer Guidance and Placements, offshore certification and to fully equip youngsters to become self-sustaining professionals in IT field in-Land and Abroad.
7.  By preparing and placing youngsters as professionals, this program enables socially excluded members of the society to move from the margins to mainstream economy.
8.  Poverty reduction and employment generation in campus using the employability and incubation Centre thus promoting young Entrepreneurs.
9.  Making Innovation and Startup as our primary goal of Internship promoting research and development.
